A Welcomed Introduction

Hello everyone,

We welcome you to the Journal section of Alt-D!

Here, you will find a variety of different content: from creative writing and funny musings, to deep political thought -- even some dissertations. We want to share what we care about, keep up with exciting projects and also share emerging artist opportunities. Being a collaborative project, we have little restrictions on submissions -- so we hope that there is something in here for everyone.

As you may already know, we created Alt_D out of the desire to provide for ourselves a fair way to actually celebrate our creativity as a graduating cohort in the face of adversity. The Journal is a key part of that, providing a platform from which our voices can really be heard. This beauty of this section is that it is ever-evolving, as artists keep adding to it over time.

All in all, we hope that you enjoy it as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.
