Hazel is an Illustrator from and currently based in Midlothian, Scotland. Ballet, performance and theatre are consistent themes she enjoys exploring through her illustrations. Using pencil, gouache and crayon alongside digital drawing tools, she creates colourful playful imagery with a focus on texture and mark making. Her main final project ‘Swan Lake’ is a decorative retelling of the classic ballet, which draws influence from The Ballet Russes and Romanov Russia.
